Building the brand

No Pants Profits is Richard — the person, the voice, the brand. Not a corporate holding company. Not a property listing. Him.

Channel started as No Pants Profits. Current show title is The No Pants Show. Person / brand is still No Pants Profits — same channel ID, same handle, same custom URL. The exact year the display name flipped is unknown; we are not inventing one.

On Dec 9, 2021 he filed the trademark (serial 97165296). On Jan 17, 2023, NO PANTS PROFITS registered with the USPTO as #6953406 (class 041 — online videos / financial education), with first use dated Sep 5, 2021 — the same day the channel was created. Fancy paperwork for a simple idea: teach money stuff without the suit-and-tie energy.

The name stuck because the attitude stuck. Pants optional. Profits intentional.

Cruises & chaos

Richard does cruises the way some people do coffee — regularly, loudly, and with opinions. The content followed him onboard.

In 2024, cruise press covered the Carnival Miracle Starlink Mini story: gear confiscated, debate ignited, internet briefly united by one guy's satellite dish drama. Public record. Peak No Pants — and still on The No Pants Show.

Miami history. Port St. Lucie (St. Lucie County) for the business mail and the quieter stretch of Florida coastline energy. Sunshine, humidity, and a calendar that still somehow includes more cruises than most people take in a lifetime.

This is home base — the place No Pants Profits ships from, even when Richard is somewhere with a pool deck and a questionable Wi-Fi policy. Local flavor includes St. Lucie Shark Tank — a Port St. Lucie pitch-night community (independent local event, not the TV show).
